Denise Garcia Van Wyngaardt, CEO. Ms. Van Wyngaardt currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer responsible for both corporate performance and strategic direction of Indigo IT.  Ms. Van Wyngaardt embodies a philosophy of strong leadership, critical thinking, and performance accountability all of which are reflected in Indigo IT's management commitment to delivering service value on behalf of our customers.  As CEO, Ms. Van Wyngaardt is also principally engaged in outreach activities with customers, partners, and industry to help ensure the relevance, currency, and excellence of Indigo IT's solutions and services.  Ms. Van Wyngaardt also emphasizes a values-based philosophy in Indigo IT's culture and operations characterized by a strong ethical code of conduct and a commitment to Indigo IT's core values of Responsibility, Initiative, Service, and Excellence.

In addition to her overall CEO responsibilities, Ms. Van Wyngaardt provides management oversight of Indigo IT's Human Resource and Financial functions.  Her previous work experience includes time as a policy analyst and research associate, working closely with city mayors and other local government leadership from across the country to develop policy positions and help manage large grants from prominent national foundations.  She has been involved in all levels of policy development from researching policy issues to managing the policy process for two standing committees, as well as preparing briefing materials and providing technical assistance to cities on school improvement issues.  In addition, she has more than five years of high-level work experience at the National League of Cities.

She holds a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.

Robert A. Craig, Principal. Mr. Craig has more than twenty years of experience in public sector service and consulting related to information management, systems engineering, management consulting, and materiel management including serving as a logistics officer in the US Army.  Mr. Craig's education and diverse experience make him passionate about using information technology to deliver business value and solve complex IT challenges for Indigo IT's customers, and he approaches each client engagement with the same philosophy he learned in the Army: above all, accomplish the mission.

Mr. Craig is also a firm believer in leveraging best-practice processes to manage the quality of service delivery for both cusomters and internal operations.  In addition to serving as the Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Craig has guided Indigo IT through its certification in ISO 20000:2005 (IT Service Management).  He continues to serve as the ISO 20000 champion, promoting Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) via the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" quality framework of ISO 20000 and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).  These philosophies are central in our approach to Indigo IT's client engagements and business processes.  Mr. Craig stays deeply involved in client solutions development and has worked with a variety of Federal and Commercial customers to include US Customs and Border Protection, US Coast Guard, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Environmental Protection Agency. 

Mr. Craig holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Shane Van Wyngaardt, Principal. Mr. Van Wyngaardt, Principal in Charge of Enterprise Solutions, has nearly 20 years of management and consulting experience architecting and implementing complex IT infrastructure solutions worldwide, with specialized expertise in the areas of Enterprise Messaging, Archiving, and Compliance, to include eDiscovery.  As the Principal in charge of Enterprise Solutions, he leverages this experience and global perspective to build lasting customer relationships through technology solutions that provide real value to Indigo IT's customers.  Under Mr. Van Wyngaardt's direction, Indigo IT has received numerous accolades for outstanding service, to include being nominated three years consecutively for the DHS Small Business Achievement Award, winning in 2010.

Prior to co-founding Indigo IT in 2001, Mr. Van Wyngaardt served as a technology consultant to the financial and retail sectors of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).  He was instrumental in the solutions design and application migration of a number of business critical systems while serving as the Technical Lead on a Y2K Rapid Response Team for Citibank Europe.  Today he focuses on solutions for the Department of Defense and Homeland Security that are innovative, agile, efficient, and in alignment with the Federal Government's Cloud First Strategy.  Leveraging a methodology he principally authored, our Integrated Cloud Service Management Solution (ICSM), Mr. Van Wyngaardt applies IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts to Private and Public Cloud Service Offerings in order to maximize business return on key Agency initiatives.
