Services in Systems Engineering

Indigo IT has provided Microsoft directory and messaging solutions to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority for several years.  The Authority provides Airport management and services necessary to operate both Reagan National and Washington Dulles International Airports.  Reliable communications, to include electronic messaging and collaboration, are vital to the Authority’s ability to manage airport operations.  Most recently, Indigo IT migrated the Authority’s messaging system to Microsoft Exchange 2003 supported by Microsoft Active Directory and Windows 2003.  Indigo IT provided both the technical expertise and project management capabilities to smoothly migrate all mailboxes in the entire enterprise with zero service outages.  This was accomplished ahead of schedule and under budget facilitated by the Indigo IT philosophy of careful design and planning, thorough testing, and, most importantly, close collaboration with client staff and management.

Services in Information Assurance

Indigo IT has provided Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) since 2002.  The Authority manages airport operations for Reagan National and Dulles International Airports.  Indigo IT helped develop the Information Technology disaster recovery plan for the Authority and has continued to assist with routine training, planning updates, and annual disaster recovery exercises.  Indigo IT helps the Authority assess risk and criticality of business applications, develops recovery priorities and technical strategies for recovery, and works with other business contacts at the airports to establish true business continuity capability.  

Services in Project Management

Provided project management leadership to successfully complete a large multi-site Enterprise E-Mail migration ahead of schedule and under budget. Managed complete project life cycle from project initiation through project closure. Managed cost, schedule, quality, and human resource aspects of project. Developed project management plans for managing project risk, scope, schedule, quality, communications, human resources, and cost.
